Fenders
The weather is unpredictable. The days are getting longer, though not long enough. Don’t let that stop you from riding.
First the weather. We have all ridden in the rain at one time or another and have all worn that inevitable stripe of mud up our backs. Don’t let the rain dictate when you can ride. Fenders can be mounted to any bicycle, though some bikes are more accommodating than others.
Some fenders will cover the whole tire for full protection. Some fenders only cover part of the tire to ward off the bulk of what mother nature can throw at you.
Fenders are also a huge step to less maintenance on your bicycle. Keep the mud on the inside of the fender and off your frame and drivetrain. Cables last longer, chains stay cleaner and bikes look better with less mud and more fender.
